"It's not even cold yet!"

I met a guy this morning at 6:30 AM at a coffee shop. It was 27 so I wore gloves. When I put them down on the table, he laughed at me and said, "Why are you wearing gloves dude...it's not even cold yet." Really, when did 27 stop being cold?

By the way, when I left the coffee shop at 8 AM it was still dark like midnight. It's getting light around 8:45 AM right now. The darkest days will be in December and January....sunlight at 10 and dark at 3:30. Really looking forward to that.

For lunch, I met Lindsay and girls at a park with a huge hill. We went sledding and then had a picnic. That was a first...sledding during my lunch break.

And if you didn't know this already, we are expecting another child sometime in May. Total surprise...we are excited and adjusting "our plans." Please be praying for Lindsay and our newest little one.

Hope all is well in the "Lower 48."

Congratulations! 4 is a great number as Julia(nose biting bug)) is standing behind me singing "Since You Been Gone" , how appropriate. You guys have been very busy since you been gone :-) Incidentally Julia turns 13 tomorrow.

Love looking at your blog, I check it at least twice weekly. You all are so precious. Keep telling your story, it encourages me so much. Love to you all from Dale and the girls too. Hugs, Debbie

I had already heard that story once... now I'm reading it and laughing again! Good stuff. So basically he was calling you a weather sissy. That's what a year and a half in SoCal will do to you my friend. Just kiddin'... I'd have been wearing gloves too! Love to all!

Congratulations on another one! And if 27 is not cold then I feel like a wuss because it is getting down to only in the 40's and that feels cold. I laughed when you said that it will start getting light around 10am and dark at 3:30pm. Kelli and I were just talking how it is going to stink when it gets dark here at 4:30, that does put things into perspective. We talk of you often and love reading your blogs to keep us up to speed on the Swain's. Take care and stay warm.
